At Jr Physiotherapy, we believe that every child is unique and deserves the best care tailored to their individual needs. We create a fun, safe and engaging environment to help children flourish, move and play in their best way.
We provide kids physio for babies and infants, toddlers and preschoolers, school aged children, and children with disability and movement difficulties.

Located in the heart of Woonona, Jr Physiotherapy provides a physiotherapy service for the children and their families of the community and surrounding suburbs.

We offer physiotherapy services to clients with Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans (gap fees apply), self and plan managed NDIS participants, private health fund and private paying clients.
No referral is required to see a physiotherapist.
If Jr Physiotherapy isn’t the best fit for your child or family, we will do our best to find an appropriate service to meet your needs.

Janelle Roby

Janelle’s values are at the heart of Jr Physiotherapy - family, compassion and integrity. Janelle wants everyone that comes to Jr Physiotherapy to feel cared for, safe, to have fun, and to be awesome together.
Janelle believes that everyone deserves to move the best way that they can. Children deserve to play and explore, and people deserve to actively participate and connect with and in their communities.
Janelle works with a person and family centre approach, meeting people where they are at and using their strengths and empowering them to ensure the best chance of achieving their goals.
Janelle graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2006 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons). She has worked extensively in the public health system, as well as with government disability agencies in the Northern Territory and NSW, and private practice; maintaining a mix of paediatric and adult caseload since graduating.
Janelle has undertaken tertiary study and additional training in Trauma Informed Care and Practice. Providing a safe environment for all people to access, and providing care that is appropriate and responsive, is important to her. She has also completed a Masters of Health Leadership and Management (Dist).
Janelle has completed substantial professional development across a broad and diverse range of paediatric (and adult) areas. This includes NSMDA, HINE, APA Level 2 Paediatrics, FINE as well as courses covering but not limited to neurological, musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, respiratory, orthopaedic, hypermobility disorders, 24hr positioning, autism, cerebral palsy and much more.
When not at work Janelle spends time with her family including 3 children and fur child.
She enjoys supporting young children to play sport and is actively engaged in League Tag, Surf Lifesaving and cricket. She is a Level 1 Sports Trainer, Surf Lifesaving sports official, junior league tag coach, and community cricket coach. She believes in
supporting grass roots community participation in sport, with a passion for levelling the playing field for girls and women, and inclusion for all abilities.
